Adam Benowitz is a lifelong entrepreneur with experience and success spread across a variety of industries and platforms. Adam grew up in Philadelphia and attended the University of California at Berkeley. After graduating with a degree in Psychology, he played professional poker for two years. He played in many tournaments, including two World Series of Poker.
Adam soon transitioned into the world of finance becoming a trader of securities at several different firms. In 2005, Adam co-founded an investment adviser to private funds which he continues to run today. In 2012, Adam began independently producing television shows. The show topics ranged from documenting the struggles of Julliard educated ballet dancers, to interior designers in Naples, Florida. When Adam met Rick Dorfman in December of 2012, they began discussing the creation of a full-service management, production and branded entertainment company, which would eventually become Converge Media Group. Adam is a lifelong aficionado of all things TV from the 60’s on. Adam also works with several philanthropies, including the Foundation for Fighting Blindness and music and children’s charities.
